Forced Resurrection

I was recently quite strongly reminded of the need to have a fully operational website or blog, and actually had to give some thought to where my last version resided and what it was called (it didn’t matter too much actually, as non of the previous incarnations were operational). However, in the process of migrating some of the old articles across (very useful to me for historic reasons), I realised it has been over 10 years since I last properly submitted something to the blog - but even more than that, what has changed in my life, technology, and the systems and services I now use in comparison to 10 years ago.

Having recently found an odd interest in Farming Simulator 15 (actually it started with Farming Simulator 2013), I remembered I had an old Microsoft Sidewinder Force-feedback steering wheel and pedals stashed somewhere in my loft, and so thought it would be a good idea to bring them out of hibernation and see how they worked on my PC now.
